Business Development Manager

Job description

The candidate will be at the forefront of the client interaction and will be responsible for bringing in business and maintaining relationship from new and existing clients

Duties & Responsibilities

· Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction 
· Conduct market research to identify new markets and customer needs 
· Keep track of current industry trends, market activities of competitors 
· Develop marketing literature (pitch deck, newsletters, write-ups etc) 
· Communicate new product developments to existing/prospective clients 
· Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives 
· Prepare sales contracts / filing tenders ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines 
· Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. 
· Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support 
· Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

Qualifications & Experience

· 1 year experience in relevant field/ fresher from 2nd or 3rd tier IIMs 
· Experience in customer support is a plus

Preferred skills & Knowledge

· Proficiency in MS Office 
· Proficiency in English writing/speaking 
· Market knowledge 
· Strong Communication, negotiation and quick decision making 
· Time management and planning skills 
· Self-motivated, disciplined to ensure high productivity, initiative taker 
· Focused and Goal oriented individual with a go-getter attitude towards meeting revenue targets
