Detect Technologies is building the Inspection and reporting team based out of our Chennai office, that will be responsible for inspecting the industrial assets through the data acquired using industrial grade UAVs, processing the same, creating and delivering the high-quality inspection reports
• Be a part of the team which is working towards automation of inspection in industries with latest IoT tools • Reporting based on data inputs from UAVs and other sensors to analyse the health of industrial assets • Contribution in the development of the dashboard to present the reports in a desired interactive manner • Working on site with Safety and Inspection team to deliver projects • Creation and updating of checklists and SOPs for UAV based inspection of industrial assets • Transfer of the corrosion strategy to create an inspection plan for the assets with suitable recommendations and standard repair procedures • Preparation training modules and conducting training on inspection of industrial assets, to the team members/ data associates/ UAV pilots • Preparing monthly planner for the team and updating the trackers/ MIS. • Participate in and provide input to the regular review of corrosion management information for the clients • Carry out failure investigations into corrosion issues in accordance with prescribed or approved failure investigation procedures/ damage mechanisms • Provide corrosion expertise to and effectively interact with multi-disciplinary NOCTUA AI and other teams
• B. Tech/ Diploma in Metallurgical, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferably with a qualification in corrosion engineering • Min 2 years of experience in process and utilities of petroleum refineries, petrochemical or chemical process plants • Good knowledge and experience in using MS Office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Must possess proven and successful experience in delivery of high quality oral and written communications
• API 570/ 571 or similar certification is desirable
